FACTS ABOUT NANYUKI

Nanyuki is a marvelous little cosmopolitan town located north of Kenya's capital city, Nairobi. Among many of it's names, Nanyuki has also been dabbed as Kenya's little Vegas due to its wide host of reasons that make it a perfect getaway holiday/weekend haven. Regardless of your age, origin, culture or even humor, Nanyuki has definitely got something for you!

  • It is the 14th highest town in Africa.

  • It is 1,947 meters above sea-level.

  • It was founded in 1907 by British settlers.

  • It is host to three army bases, i.e Kenya Air-force, Kenya Defense Force and British Military.
  • The Kenya- Uganda railway from Nairobi to the north ends here.
  • It is a tourism and real estate hot spot.
